Vice Minister Yu Kangzhen meets Chairman,
Chief Executive Officer of Cohen Group William S. Cohen
Vice Minister Yu Kangzhen met with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cohen Group William S.Cohen and his delegation in Beijing on March 26th, 2014. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in agriculture.
During the meeting, Vice Minister Yu expressed his appreciation for the efforts by Mr.Cohen in promoting the friendly relationship, particularly in-depth agricultural cooperation, between China and the U.S.. Yu made suggestion that Mr.Cohen may further introduce China's economic development including agricultural achievements to different circles of the U.S.to enhance their understanding of China. Thus, more opportunities for cooperation could be created.
Cohen, who was the U.S.Secretary of Defense once, stated that China's tremendous achievements since adoption of the reform and opening-up policy are impressive, particularly in agriculture. As an entrepreneur, he is most happy to see China's stability and development.
